The Nintendo Wii version of Call of Duty: Black Ops is an interesting one. Based on a prototype, there are many things about the Zombies mode specifically that stand out. Most notably being a clearly unfinished product.
Kino der Toten is missing the following:
– The Character Portraits in the room after the PM63 wall chalk
– The Theatre radio dialogue
– The secret teleporter rooms that reference “Five” and Ascension
– The berlin wall outpost tower outside of the alley
– The “115” secret song (added later via a patch)
Additionally, the following list of items are things that are different from the final product on other platforms:
– The HUD does not feature its finalized score background graphic
– The Mystery Box is using a prototype-d “hellish” variant texture
– The Mystery Box in the spawn area is in a different location
– Off-the-wall weapons cycle in the Mystery Box (but are unobtainable)
– Zombies still feature a lot of their World at War characteristics, such as “grabbing” the player
– The Pack-A-Punch camo is much different
– The AUG Rifle is available as a chalk drawing in the theatre.
– There are a lot of chalk drawings and writings that do not appear in the final versions that are present here.
There is likely much more I am failing to mention. I highlight as many of these discrepancies as I can in the video.
I cannot license this as Creative Commons or similar because of restrictions gameplay content has pertaining to me not being a copyright holder. I do, however, waive any rights I may have had as the recorder and player to the gameplay. I have recorded the content at 1920×1080 60 FPS to give anyone the best chance at downloading the content and preserving its quality enough to remain satisfactory for re-use. I apologize for the vertical lines, this is a limitation of my component to HDMI adapter.
